How can I fix my Microsoft Task Launcher?

My 1/2G DDR2 100GB emachines with XP2, bellied up and I bought an Acer 2G 320 Vista Premium and now Task Launcher is much wimpier than on the tower that had less. I can not now copy pages of data/text from the net and paste it on their 6 page tract, easily done before, something I must be able to do.
