How to help someone from a verbally abusive relationship?

i think you just need to be there for her and support her. sometimes ppl who r in relationships like these end up staying MORE with the guy when their friends say to not. cuz they are stubborn and wanna somehow prove to their friends that they can stick with the stiutation that they are in. she just needs to be told that she is stronger than this and doesnt deserve a guy who treats her poorly! give ur input but also step back for her to do it on her own...
