Where is a border between Islam and another religion that isn't bloody?

In south east asia thailand and philipines both have islamic insurgencies trying to overthrow their governments, indonesia commits genocide on its christian citizens in irian jya and east timor. Turkey doesn't get along with the Greeks, Armenians and Slavs. The Arabs don't get along with the non-muslim africans, Jews, not to mention all the tensions between muslim groups in the middle east (Kurds, Persians, Berbers, Turks). Somalia and Ethiopia don't get along. India and Pakistan. Chechens and Slavs. Why do you think this is? Christians, Jews, Hindus and Buddhists get along in countries all around the world. I think the border between Spain and Morocco is the only one I could think of but that's because the Spaniards threw the Moors out of the country and have been much stronger ever since. Are there any more peaceful spots?
