What to do on O'ahu when your by yourself?

My husband brought me to Honolulu on a business trip. I am staying just blocks away from Waikiki. Not that I'm complaining but I have now walked up and down the strip a few times and am running out of things to do. I'm bored of shopping, no money anyway. Wouldn't mind hoppin on a bus but not sure where its safe to go on my own. I love photography and am trying to find places to go to take interesting pics. Thoughts?
