For your boyfriend, just keep it real. And don't write anything you may regret later. For your friends, put in some inside jokes that'll keep them laughing and remembering the great year. And if random people ask, just write like "it's been a great year, have a great summer! see you next year!" or something like that. It really doesn't matter what you write with but yeah bright colors are my favorite. I always print, but if cursive's easier for you, then stick with that. So I hope that helped :) have a great time!
