String Art?

Alright, when you were a kid, there was a thing you used to do with looped string, where you made Jacob's Ladder, Cat Whiskers, Cup and Saucer, Witches' Broom and Crow's Feet among others. Does anyone know what this is called? Or where I can go to get more information on it, and how to do other things?
