How to link Oracle 11g and Navicat?

Was wondering how to link Oracle 11g database software and Navicat Lite? I have Oracle 10g express edition installed on a vm of Windows xp but that edition of Oracle won't install on a 64-bit machine running Windows 7. Was just wondering how I would go about getting those to programs to link and maybe how to link Navicat Lite and Eclipse IDE.
