BGT Susan Boyle threatening to quit...?

I was just reading an article where she cursed a journalist out and she made some comments about a competitive singer on the talent show. She is 38 years old, never married, no children, no great beauty. This is a lot of attention for someone who is from a village and no interaction beforehand with great attention or fame.
